Part of the the draw abck of writing for a local publication, mostly about local bands, is that there’s a certain pressure to be kind and sensitive to the feelings of bands you don’t particularly like and who are either going through the motions or becoming a copy of a copy of a copy. So when i say that i like a band, sometimes i actually dont; not really. Not in the way you should if you’re writing about their music. Other times though i don’t lie and when i say i like a band i actually do.
