Capitalism is literally destroying us all. We had loads of fun doing this week though. It was contradictory to our core beliefs in so many ways and the only thing I’m gutted about with us not getting the top spot is all those people that gave apple and amazon another fiver at the last push in the hopes that it might get us over the finishing line. That felt like a waste… sorry. We are wading in weird waters and even if we push on a commercial slant with some of our retro inspired punk funk bits, I still don’t think a band like ours, singing about lettuces and men called Graham should ever be neck and neck with a national treasure on their 3rd album pushing Years and Years as hard as we did
