In purely commercial criteria, with eventual worldwide sales of 10 million, Be Here Now was a success. Its follow-up, 2000’s Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, sold around three million. Which hardly amounts to failure. But Be Here Now cost Oasis seven million fans.
